As a photographer you sometimes get awesome requests from clients, in this case I got a client that asked me if I wanted to work with them on a project called Breach & Clear. A challenging photography project, where I needed to capture several situations during several different testing situations by different authority forces. The photoshoot would take place in one of their training facilities that could create different kinds of situations. In this case they where all about (posable) fire hazards during Breach & Clear situations.
For me this kind of extreme working situations make my blood flow faster, extreme situations where you even get your own team assigned to keep you and your equipment safe from the controlled but extreme situations and environment.
Before each Breach & Clear would take place I would get the time to look at the room and the plan on how they would "attack the situation" based on this plan I would choose my gear and position during the "real" Breach & Clear training situation.
Even tho there is no live ammunition involved in this training photoshoot, the fire in the images was much real and sometimes very hard to work at especially during the first situation where a backdraft was created in the room. Extreme heat and large walls of fire made it even harder to take images and stay concentrated in a situation like this.
Since I'm still very proud of the photo's I have taken that day, I want to share these with you. I hope you like them and if so I will try to show some more of my creations.
