Snowy Landscape + Abstract Ice Art
It has been quite wintery today. It was -17 C in the morning. It's a few degrees below zero now. It's typical of later winter for nights to be very cold on cloudless days like this. Unfortunately, there is no frost on the trees, so any landscape photos will look more boring than they would in the middle of the winter.
So, I decided to shoot pieces of snow and ice and play with the editor a little.
Here's another one. You need to bring up the shadows, add contrast and black levels.
Nature's own ice sculptures hanging over a babbling brook.
Ha ha, quite a bad weather situation in the east. Plenty of snow. Hopefully the spring is not so far away,
