The Everyday Heroine

Recently I participated in the contest "Everyday Heroine" from "Youmanity". I sent photos and a story about the work of Irina Zhirnova from the Fight with cancer Foundation. The competition was big, the jury received more than three thousand photos from 57 different countries.

Therefore, I was very happy when I saw my name in the shortlist. Unfortunately, I did not win. But I'm very happy, that I was a part of this. Among the winners are real masterpieces. I have just a little experience of participation in competitions, but I understood better what photos the jury usually are waiting.
