ARCHIPELAGO OF CHAGOS: COCONUTS CRABE / LES CHAGOS : CRABES DE COCOTIER

In this photograph, a famous coconut crab. Extremely widespread in the Chagos, they are also protected. Their size can sometimes be amazing. This is not a legend, these crabs climb coconut palms like real tightrope walkers, although the scene is always surprising!

Sur cette photographie, un fameu crabe de cocotier. Extrêmement répandus aux Chagos, ils y sont également protégés. Leur taille peut parfois être étonnante. Ce n'est pas une légende, ces crabes grimpent aux cocotiers comme de vrais funambules, bien qu'avertis, la scène en reste toujours surpenante !

There is one part to avoid absolutely . I don't remember which one... I've tested it in Papouasia, it's quite good.
