City Contrasts #3 — Urban Zen Place
On a hill above the city where people go to enjoy the end of the day. A small fragment that looks quite peaceful. The next image of the series, one to be published soon, was taken at the same location, a view at about 90 degrees to my right. Stay tuned ;) And Zen it out.
ISO: 400; Aperture: F 4; Shutter Speed 1/2500 sec; Focal Distance: 140 mm.
Such high ISO and high Shutter Speed are not necessary, they can both go lower in this particular case. But the surrounding environment needed the high ISO when not shooting against the sun and time was short.

That is a fantastic shot! The rocks stacked like that remind me a lot of a place we camped at recently called Kagga Kamma There were the most fascinating rock formations there, apparently because the whole place used to be below sea level.
Great view, the focus seems to be on the stacked rocks there.
Such warmth and serenity 👌😍😋

Great silhouette, and there is even some stone balancing there! Brilliant!
Looks wonderful. I often put my camera on full auto and let it do all the work and 9 times out of 10 the image comes out okay
Thanks. That would depend on...light conditions, speed of your object, desired result, your physical prowess as a tripod or at least an immovable bipod...
I just point and shoot, I don't care about all the other stuff..
