Moments captured in time
It’s not when you press the shutter, but why you press the shutter. - Mary Ellen Mark
Photography is an art,art of observation. It is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. Its about catching a moment which is passing ,when caught on film is captured forever. Its about remembering little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
“Photography is a way to shape human perception.”—James Balog
It's an immediate reaction and a simultaneous recognition of the significance of an event. To render in visual terms feelings and experiences that often elude the ability of words to describe.
I find the still image more powerful than the moving picture, because it leaves me alone for a moment with my thoughts.Even though fixed in time, a photograph evokes as much feeling as that which comes from music or dance. when i think about it , its definitely not about lights or fast lenses and fast film but It's ability to capture a moment in time.
