Of Pictures and Captured Moments #1

Hello people,

So, I'm thinking of regularly posting some pictures up here. Pictures I've clicked over the years wandering here and there. It'll probably be a random collection of moments bunched up together, but as a whole they might make some sense.. or not.

Anyway, here's the first lot.

Manali, India

I think this was back in December, 2015. My piano teacher from Brazil was traveling with me and we were just roaming around in the Himalayas without any set destination. It was a very peaceful trip. (This place is also known for the best hashish in the world called Malana Cream)

When the mountains call, you must go.

Goa, India

When people talk about Goa, they always think beaches. But if you ever get a chance to go to the inner areas, you'll get to see some beautiful lakes and rivers. Drive or ride around some nice green roads. 

In my opinion, Goa is one of the most chilled out places in the world. I hope it stays that way.

Pune, India

Found this purple dude chilling and watching the sunset. There's a nice roof garden at my friends place in Pune.

Pune's damn cool. The vibe is right, people are chilled out, has a great music scene and you can find the right kind of people easily. I've lived there for a while. Definitely one of the nicer cities in the country.

Tip: If you ever find yourself in the city and you're into Jazz, make sure you go visit Sheesha cafe. Lovely place.

Mahabalipuram, India

I call this one "Moonlight Drive" (Doors reference.. Jim Morrison!)

This was a beautiful moment on the beach. Somehow I managed to get it on the memory chip of my iPhone. This was during my time at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, Chennai, India. It's a great music school in the middle of nowhere. So much of what I know about music today, I learnt at that place. Any musicians reading this should find out more about the school.

And now that we've talked about Jim, it would be a shame if we don't listen to the man himself.
