Yakutia. The kingdom of permafrost.

It is this amazing place in the vicinity of Yakutsk, in one of the hills, located inside a mountain not far from the ethnographic complex "Chochur Muran".

Earlier this place was used as a huge cellar for food storage. In 2008, we opened the fabulous cave to tourists as "the kingdom of permafrost." Before you enter the cave to keep warm, give all visitors a warm coats and shoes. In summer the temperature in the cave is about -4 degrees, and winter does not fall below -10.

In the cave you can see a few rooms.

In one of the halls you can see the remains of mammoths and other ice age animals.

Here are all lit with bright lights. As if in a fairy tale to the snow queen. Everything was made of ice.
