Summer Storms Amidst Moving Day
There is nothing quite like a summer thunderstorm. Few things make people scatter indoors or quickly finish their grocery shopping as this sight does.
I was enamored with the sky as this storm moved in. Funny enough, I was not the only person out taking pictures. Maybe it is the easy going nature of our town, or maybe wonder filled people congregate.
My family and I love to sit on our front porch and watch thunderstorms. The storm is raging, but there is a majesty and peace about the entire experience.
One of my favorite parts about summer thunderstorms is the bright colors they leave in their wake. Some of our friends needed to be out of their apartments today, and we loaded a 28 foot truck in between the rain and lightning.
Many hands make light work as they say. We made sure to save the 30 pounds of Venison for the end and pack it close to door. Country folks have their priorities.
That thunder sunset looks like a bruise - and you probably had a few from the move - country folk helping out :)

Excellent pictures of the summer storms, for me have been very vivid. The good thing about the blessing of the rains is that it allows to renew and clean the atmosphere and of course once it happens, it gives as a result the vivid colors that you showed us in the photograph. The storms are becoming very dangerous. The scientists say that people are the cause of global warming. But it is because we destroy the existing order existing in the world. GOD bless you and family @lydon.sipe
