Coriphantha includes more than 80 species.
Blooms large from 4 to 10 cm. Flowers are yellow, pink, sometimes orange in color with a violet shade and brown, red or pink center.
The peculiarity of Coriphantha is that if the care for it was correct, then after a year, red, yellow or pink fruits ripen in place of the flowers.
There are difficulties in growing it, since for normal growth and development of the plant the air temperature in the room during the summer period should not exceed 20-25 ° C
My Coriphantha is on the balcony, in summer the temperature is much higher.
Time will tell how it will react in the future to high temperatures.
