Lily's Little Herb Garden, Part 2: Crazy Trees and Other things

in #photography7 years ago

Here are the rest of my cactuses, soon they'll get their own containers just like the others.

A thorn about twice the size of this went sinking into my foot about a week ago, these are no joke.

This vine above is known by many names, datura, cupo de oro, cup of gold, arbol de loco, crazy tree.  Supposedly is hallucinogenic and was used in Mexico long before peyote.  More information on this plant to come in the future.

Those are little key limes forming on our tree that is very happy about the recent rains. That's all I've got for now, thanks for following and supporting us, until next time!

You said cactus, but the rest of the pictures are so green! What is the location?

These are taken at my house, I only have tiny cactuses.

Oh okay! Little succulents :) I wonder if you can find and aloe vera cactus where you're at, those are easy to take care of and useful for other home solutions.

Ya I agree does not look like the desert I live in

Very nice!

Ouch have to watch out for those thorns hiding, waiting to sink in to you lol :) Great pics!

Lovely photos. Hope your key Limes grow.. mine budded and then horrible weather and they all fell off
