Brother Bane Photo Shoot

It's been awhile since you guys have seen the dynamic duo that is Tiger and Bane. They got pretty sick with what I think was probably parvo virus and spent the better part of a month (or a month and a half and still getting better in Bane's case) dealing with illness and recovery. These photos of Bane were taken over a week ago at this point, the main reason I put off posting them was because I was going to attempt to get a shoot like this of his sister, the redhead Tiger but it just hasn't happened. I'll prioritize it though, and an updated shoot of Bane here as he's looking much better now.

For whatever reason, this one who I call Brother Bane took several weeks before he started putting on any weight again. We fed him nothing but meat and potatoes and such as that's all he'd eat but it still took weeks of small meals throughout the day before his bowels stopped freaking out and he started having more of an appetite. Now he'll eat anything I throw in there and is now fighting growing bigger with gaining back the weight he lost.

Stay tuned there's another set of this little guy. For anyone wondering, we're just taking care of these pitbull puppies for an expat who's out of the country for now, so they'll likely be leaving our home this fall to be with their owner. They're about 8 months old and they're supposed to be fullbred pitbull, and I believe it when I see them posted up on boulders outside now. It's been an interesting challenge, as we remember just how much time it took to get our Rebel dog to where he is today.
