Post-trip photo sharing (VII)!

This time we're going to the Dieng Plateau! It was the third day of the trip, which was quite relaxing and I liked quite a lot. Being relaxing isn't the only good part of that day's trip, but we're going on the mountains with some great view...which, why not? :P

This is one of the photo spots the driver dropped us on for some shots. They clearly know the need for photo spots like these, so they picked the best spots possible for photos!

Much to my surprise that there's no entrance fee...

It is also very breezy around here! I'm imagining, how it's like to have a house over here...this mountain is mostly used as farms, so you can see vegetables and tobacco leaves everywhere. It's quite a unique sight!

Halfway to our first stop of the Dieng Plateau (the Arjuna Temple) our driver stopped us at a shop to get us some local stuff...namely the "Carica".

It's actually the fruit from a papaya-like tree (they should be in the same biological family) over there (and only available in there), pickled and served with some syrup in a small plastic cup like this. The liquid feels okay-ish (isn't a fan of syrup), and the fruit tastes a little bit like papaya...except that it's not totally ripe for this one, and pickled, so the texture feels a little different...

Anyway, here's on the way to the Arjuna Temple!

They actually looks a little similar to the Prambanan Temple in terms of art style...

This one's different, probably a building with a different purpose. But this is the time when I hope that there's a tour guide to do the explanation...

Another temple visit! That's a big part of any Yogyakarta visit - it's famous for the temples. There's another one within the same day, but let's wait until I reach there in terms of post progress...

These stone buildings really have that unique charm with them, maybe that's what we couldn't get in the current age. Modern things have their own charm, but it's different.
