Post-trip photo sharing (IV)!
Let's get back to what we dropped for the last post...
For the second day's morning, we went to the Kalibiru National Park, in which we will be getting a lot of photo spots...ahem, I mean, nature, but of course, photo spots. As per my usual self, I'm not as excited as my mum for those photo spots. However the view there is pretty awesome, so let's check it out :3
Random shot while we're going there. The sky does look blue!
It's not a totally enjoyable ride because it's a place high up in the mountains, and you know, mountains...the road goes up, down, left, right, spin around, up again, down again, up, up, and sometimes we have to wait by the roadside for cars from the other direction to pass because the road is that small, but the trip does feel worth it in the end :)
We went there when it was very close to their National Day (17th of August), so you can see flags like these waving everywhere...
Ah, yes. This is taken after we have arrived there. If I remembered correctly, cars are not allowed to be in this road because as you can see, it's really small, lol.
What's the view there then? Tada.
(The clouds came with us...)
Kalibiru National Park is a pretty interesting place, it seems to be like the recreation park you will want to go for some stretching fun (it has those platformers and climbing sites for you to exercise around), but also serves as an Instagram check-in spot for tourists like us. The photo above is the main backdrop for all the photo spots they have there :P so yeah, now you can see why it is a big spot for Instagram here...
Take a look on the photo spots they provide here...
Imagine having a house on top of a mountain, this is how your balcony looks like.
Want to go higher for a better view + more photographs? They have you covered.
I have to admit that the view only gets better from a higher ground!
And here's the highlight of the trip, which is, what my mum is looking for...
If you go and find images of Kalibiru National Park on Google Images, you'll see pictures of people swinging on a swing with this gorgeous backdrop behind them, giving the illusion that you're going all out doing dangerous stuff to get photos. Here's the magic behind that - you get on the swing, they secure you up, and with a handle up there they rotate you out for photo taking! It isn't dangerous and it is fun in some ways - you're closer to the hills, and where else can you have your legs on nothing while being so high above sea level? It's a rare experience of a lifetime :)
I think my mum enjoyed this place the most, she loved photos and bought a ton of photos here, lol. They charge per photo you want after viewing them on their laptops, and they give you the softcopy so that you can fulfil your Instagram needs! Or Steemit, although I'm definitely not putting mine here...hehe.
Next up, we're going to the Prambanan Temple, a really common tourist spot...post coming soon :3
See you next time!

Holy crap... I wouldn't dare go on that swing! It would be super cool if it was a flying fox though!... but I still wouldn't get on it!
Lol...at first I thought that there will be a flying fox thing and I will love it so much! But okay, it feels a little not feasible to fly all the way from mountains to mountains...but I still hope for something like that!
