New Years Day Visitors (birds)
I awoke to some nice fresh snow and the lighting was nice to take a few photos of the birds. They are a bit tough to get nice photos of when the cold air is coming through the window or door and the birds are moving around a lot. The bird photos are taken with my Panasonic Lumix FZ35 and the last photo was with my Galaxy S7.
This junco was looking very cute in the snow:

Here’s a spotted towhee:

A sparrow hiding behind the bamboo:

Looks like a couple of sparrows and the spotted towhee sharing a fine dining experience:

Thanks for viewing – I greatly value your support! Some pictures were cropped and or adjusted using GIMP software.
That towhee in the second photo looks a little chilly! But a lot perkier and happier in the rest of the pictures, lol. Happy New Year and here's to seeing a lot of nice birds all through 2017!
It has been a bit cold, the birds were puffing up their feathers. There are many hawks and eagles around now too, I keep wanting to get some photos of them but they are usually not in my yard. Happy New Year to you too, thanks for commenting!
You're welcome.
