Kabaddi A Cultural Sport of Punjab (India vs Pakistan)

Kabaddi is a popular sport of Punjab. India and Pakistan are the best teams of Kabaddi because it is played in both sides of Punjab. Like cricket in Kabaddi India and Pakistan match becomes a high tension match. In which every player gives his best. Despite the tension on borders between India and Pakistan, Kabaddi organizers arrange these matches to ease the tension and send message of love. Last night Pakistan won Kabaddi World Cup 2020 held in Lahore, Pakistan. In this World cup 10 teams of the world participated like Pakistan, India, Iran, Canada, Sierra Leone, Germany, Azerbaijan, Kenya, England, Australia. Because of my busy schedule I could not attend this event but I have photographs of last event Asian Kabaddi championship 2016 held in Wahcantt City, Pakistan. So I decided to share that event's pictures.

Kabaddi has modernized and has been included in Asian games but that Kabaddi is played indoor and on mate. Original Kabaddi which has been played in Punjab is circle style Kabaddi. In this game player shows his strength and agility. These players are very special they get tough training and only focus on their games. As it is a local game so every village or city supports its players as these players fight for their area's pride.

India and Pakistan match in every game becomes like a war. A large number of people watch and follow this match all over the world. Thanks to big sponsors who have realized that besides cricket there are others games also which have potential to attract a large number of people. These matches are broadcasted on TV and also live streaming is done on social media.

During India and Pakistan match there are some heated moments where the teams argue on some points. So this time they have used technology and took review of the disputed point with replay and also appointed neutral referee. Hope in future they will incorporate more technology in it and some sort of touch censors will be introduced. Hats of to Indian Kabaddi team and organizers who traveled to Pakistan without the permission of their sports board. We must eliminate politics in sports and always encourage healthy activities.
