Parisian Scenes - Day 13

So, you know how we haven't seen the Eiffel tower here in a while?
Well, here it is :-)

The Eiffel tower is located, surprisingly to most people, not in the central part of Paris, but rather a bit on the side, a little far from the really interesting touristic attractions (unless you're into modern art, and then it's right in your corner of the town).

One of the things that can definitely be said about the Eiffel is that no matter how far it is from the center, you can see it from many various places in Paris, not all of them are very close to it.

Because Paris is a city that is built rather low (most of the buildings here have no more than 6 floors, due to municipal instructions that are ages and ages old, and even new buildings are built according to these standards), the Eiffel tower doesn't "disappear in the crowd" like, let's say, the Empire State building in Manhattan, New York, among all the rest of the skyscrapers. Nope, the Eiffel, with the exception of Montparnasse tower, is definitely the tallest, grandest building in the urbanscape of Paris.
