Enchanting Adventure @ Asik-Asik Falls | North Cotabato Trip

Great day STEEMIANS!

Today, I will be sharing my short yet worth it adventure last July 7, 2018 at Asik-Asik Falls situated in Alamada, North Cotabato, Philippines. I was there with my workmate when we had our travel for work in Cotabato City.

From Cotabato City, we rode a van to Libungan, Cotabato about an hour for only Php 35 - a cheaper price. In Libungan public market, we negotiated a habal-habal driver to drive us to Asik-Asik Falls for about Php 700-800, depending on the negotiations. It was about and hour and a half trip in both plain and uneven road before we arrived at the entrance area to Asik-Asik Falls in Sitio Dulao, Brgy. Upper Dado in Alamada. Entrance fee is only Php 35 each.

Then the hike begun down the hill, and we were thankful that they recommend us to rent for a "sungkod/tungkod"for only Php 10, as our support during the walk for a really long hike, especially going up back to the mainland.

This enchanting and peaceful nature was our view during the tiring but worthy walk.

And, about 30 minutes for a 1km walk (I guess), then we then arrived in Asik-Asik Falls - just WOW!

The water is super cold and because of a tiring and perspiring hike, we then dip down the waterfalls. The photos already speak for itself!

After an hour enjoying Asik-Asik falls mysterious yet enchanting view, we then walk up the hill. And, still the view is so much nice, just like a stairway to heaven.
