Steemit Photo Challenge 42 Entry #1 – Animal Portrait II – “A Monkey’s Love”

Monkeys are fascinating to watch, I can’t help but notice similarities to humans (we are both primates after all). This picture pulls at so many different emotions for me. For starters, they both look so relaxed, safe, and at peace – let’s just be honest, that snuggle looks amazing. I think the shot does a good job capturing the pure love between mother and baby. The baby is latched on and I imagine comforted by the sound of the Mother’s heartbeat, while the mother takes a few deep breaths for herself in this moment. What do you think, do you see the genuine love between these two?
