Beautiful Colonial Pennsylvania
A couple of historic homes from the pre-Civil War Era in Harrisburg, PA - my favorite place! I remember looking at these spectacular homes and wondering what it must have been like to build them by hand and live in them way back then. Just think how life has changed in such a short amount of time!
This overlook is just across the street from the homes pictured above. It is located on a narrow strip of park land and includes a riverwalk that traverses a 5 mile+ stretch of the Susquehanna. I have stood in this place many times, once crying in a downpour just asking why . . . but the bittersweet memories lend themselves to this area always holding a special place in my heart.
Thank you for sharing.

Thank you friend, you are very kind. Have a great evening
Pennsylvania's quite beautiful that's a place I want to go back and visit
Yes, I left NY to get away from the winter but I guess there will always be a little nostalgia for it and PA has just the right mix. Fall is my favorite time and it is so beautiful there always.
Yes a beautiful place.. :)
