I love working with new models!
Meet our newest model, April! She's a pro at playing dress up—she hand-makes amazing costumes for cosplay, one of her passions. She hasn't really done modeling before other than a few cosplay shots, so it was fun to see her progress during our four-hour shoot.
There are some outfits/shots that I get really excited about and this one one of them. It seemed to have a bit of mystique and magic, like a woodland fairy, and April said it reminded her of a porcelain doll she used to have, only the dress was pink.
I have a large picture window in the rooms where I shoot and makes the best of the natural, available light, which I tend to love, both for the qualities it produces as well as the continuity and ease to handle my slightly hyperactive tendencies.
