Indonesia is known as a country that has very fertile land as the saying goes "wood and stone become plants", almost the average population in mountainous areas earns a living as farmers. Call it in the Gayo highlands, the Takengon people there use their land to grow crops and the great thing is from the Indonesian people they can use peatlands as a field for farming. This was done by people living in the interior of Kalimantan.

Any plant can grow in this country, one of which is widely planted by the Indonesian people, especially Aceh, is rice. Rice has become a staple food for the Indonesian population from the Dutch colonial era, the people in the villages have an average livelihood as farmers and the ones who boast of it are some of them can succeed with this farming.

But unfortunately Indonesia still consumes a lot of imported rice from neighboring countries such as Thailand and Vietnam, this is what makes farmers reluctant to pursue this field seriously. Even if the government supports the activities of these farmers, the welfare of the people can be guaranteed and can also improve the people's economy.
