Travel - Ethiopia - When it rains
“The nicest thing about the rain is that it always stops. Eventually.” Eeyore. Here, during the rainy season, it rains, and rains, and rains. For a solid 3 (sometimes 4) months, the rain just pours on for days. You could have a week full of rain, skip a day, and another week full of rain. At some point you ask yourself, "When will the rain stop?". Well, it stops. It stops to the point that you question if it will ever rain again. It hasn't rained here in a month and i'm almost beginning to miss it.

I appreciate it! The rain is wonderful in the first month, but after a while, it becomes a real hazard. Yet these days, it's getting so dry that I wouldn't mind the setbacks that come with rain.
