This tree looks pretty
This tree looks pretty healthy as far as i could tell. It suffered a severe straight line hit from a thunderstorm. The shear size of the root ball says it had lots of strong roots holding on to the soil, just not enough anchorage to resist the wind. The tree has been there for a long time. I suppose if you took off all its branches (pruned it up) it would still be standing...
