Mt. Tamalpais in Marin, CA

I apologize for haven't being able to post lately. I've been dealing with some personal things but the feedback from my last post(Milky Way Photography) has me really excited about being more active and engaged on Steemit! I'm a complete noob when it comes to Steemit so I invite everyone to give me as much advice/criticism as possible. I want to make sure I'm able to entertain you all as well as grow a wider audience.

I've been doing photography for over 9 years and it's awesome to have an active audience that actually wants to see me grow and post more. I'm hoping I wont let you guys down =]

During the months of August - October (Fogust - Fogtober), the clouds hover at a lower level than usual than the rest of the year. Mt. Tamalpais is one of the only places in the bay area where you can get an elevation above cloud level.

It's a unique perspective that I don't think many people even in the bay area ever get to see. The road going up Mt Tamalpais can be a headache sometimes with one-lane roads and tight turns at every corner, but definitely worth it.

Looking down at the sea of clouds sometimes feels like I'm waiting for a whale or shark to jump out. The clouds can get really dense and have gaps where you can see life below.

I set up for sunset and did a 30 minute timelapse of the clouds coming down into the mountain. This timelapse is composed of over 500 still images.

Lens: Canon 24-105mm

Again I apologize for the delay and hope everyone's having a great weekend!
