A lone skier climbs into Garnet Canyon in Grand Teton National Park as the sunrise alpenglow lends a magenta hue to the snowy landscape. Winter is an incredible time to visit these wild places. It takes a bit more effort to access but the reward is solitude and astounding beauty you won't find any other time.
