#mypictureday by @timsaid: The big, nearly 200 years old oak tree in Halesz park, Székesfehérvár
Location: Halesz park in Székesfehérvár. Time: 7:00 pm (CET)
In the low quality, sandy area, the first seedlings were planted in 1839. The residents employed a keeper for their care and watering. The name of the park in Székesfehérvár comes from the fact that local residents did not believe that seedlings would ever come to fruition. This saying was in their circles: "If there will be a tree... (Ha lesz, fa lesz)"
Finally, they did not justify their idea and the Halesz park in Székesfehérvár became a popular resting place.
One of the oaks provides a particularly impressive sight. It's very spreading (about 20 meters), its branches are low, easy to climb. It feels good to embrace this tree!
I took some photos with my mobile phone.

@kalemandra - You certainly find the most unusual things of beauty. The background of the park (how the natives did not expect any trees to grow) was interesting. I especially like the BW picture of the Oak. Good job with a smarphone camera. Thanks for sharing. Upvoted.
Thank you very much! This is one of my favourite trees. But there are cedar trees in another park, at the fishing pond, too.
