Thunderstorm

Fridays are usually the least busy at my work. Or at least we try to plan them like that. Today is especially easy - we have our monthly Friday off.

I was planning on spending it outside until I heard the thunder. It made my getting out of the bed much harder.

It is not rare that thunderstorms spoil Edmonton festival summer season. Currently, the Taste of Edmonton festival is taking place. Last year when I attended it I managed to take this photograph just minutes before the thunderstorm. It was a bit scary but I couldn't resist the urge to take one shot.

K-Days Festival is beginning today. The big parade is scheduled to open the K-Days but the weather still doesn't look too promising for me to attend and watch the show. It starts in one hour. Maybe I will make it there. Only weather will tell.
