Did you also get in touch with any of the residents? I wonder what stories they have to tell, especially the elderly members.
Looking back, I really wish I did. I have always been rather shy, so digging into personal stories with strangers isn't the easiest for me. I would bet like many photographers, I am much more comfortable behind the lens. But, if I ever get a chance to go back, I will build up the courage to get those stories :)
I also would be interested in going back and doing some portrait photography along with stories. Might make for an interesting post.
