Photography serves a duel purpose in my world
As an amateur photographer, I always look for scenic subjects often found in nature.
I was standing out on my patio and noticed this butterfly bouncing from leaf to leaf. It stopped as if to pose for me. I say that because it was looking straight at me when I zoomed in and took the picture.
My local park is one of my favorite places because it is a place of calm.
On a road trip, at a rest stop, encouraged a walk in the woods.

Playing with the aperture option because the moon looks so close outside my door.
As a storyteller, I look for scenes that do just that for all who view it. When I look back, I hope to be transported to that place or imagine characters that I create moving in that space. Taking pictures is an art form that I hope to get better at as time goes by. I am a working in progress behind the lens.
