The Týn Church, dedicated to Mother Mary and the original name Church of Our Lady Before, is one of the most impressive Gothic religious buildings in Prague. Built in the Old Town of Prague's Historical Town Square, Týn Church was built from the middle of the 14th century to the beginning of the 16th century.

At the end of the 17th century, the interior was rearranged in Baroque style. The cathedral is known as a large gallery of Gothic, Renaissance and Early Baroque works. Their most interesting work includes the altar tables of Karel Škréta and the tomb of the astronomer Tycho Brahe.
