[ENG-SPN] Fantastic Nature / Naturaleza fantástica

The traveller knows well that, after being baptized in the dust of the roads, leaving behind those melancholic Castilian moors that can induce in the soul an irrepressible cry of compassionate despair, Nature, undisputed teacher of the school of Creativity, rewards all those open to being seduced by the details of its impeccable charm, with magnetic corners that are characterized by their hypersensitive fantasy.

The old people of the place affirm, and I believe it too, that these corners, which were not born by chance, are the last habitats of a world lost forever, whose resilient survivors now live in the most hidden corners of legends and myths and add, furthermore, that those most daring found refuge in the most distant horizons of the unconscious of men.

For this reason, these places have always inspired respect among the men of the neighborhood, generating all kinds of stories, generally of a supernatural nature, which, wonderfully, still illuminate the happy universes of children, when they are narrated by the sweet voice of grandparents to the pleasant comfort of the home fire.

Bien sabe el viajero, que, después de bautizarse en el polvo de los caminos, dejando atrás esos melancólicos páramos castellanos que pueden llegar a inducir en el alma un irreprimible grito de conmiserativa desesperación, la Naturaleza, maestra indiscutible de la escuela de la Creatividad, recompensa, a todo aquel abierto a dejarse seducir por los detalles de su intachable encanto, con magnéticos rincones que se caracterizan por su hipersensible fantasía.

Afirman los viejos del lugar y yo así lo creo también, que esos rincones, que no nacieron por casualidad, son los últimos hábitats de un mundo perdido para siempre, cuyos resilientes supervivientes moran ahora en lo más recóndito de las leyendas y de los mitos y añaden, además, que aquellos más atrevidos encontraron refugio en los horizontes más lejanos del inconsciente de los hombres.

Por eso, estos lugares han inspirado siempre respeto entre los hombres de la vecindad, generando toda clase de historias, generalmente, de índole sobrenatural, que, maravillosamente, todavía iluminan los felices universos infantiles, cuando son narrados por la voz dulce de los abuelos al grato bienestar del fuego del hogar.
