Mauricio of Nassau Bridge. It connects the Island of Santo Antonio to the Island of the Old Recife. Required for those who go to Old Recife.

Recife at night acquires a much more classic atmosphere than we can see during the day. The bridges with their nocturnal lighting reflecting on the Capibaribe River is the composition that it seems we are not in Brazil, but in some European city, like Venice or even Amsterdam. Walking through Recife at night is to feel poetry and Bohemia at every corner, every narrow street or bridge that cuts through this city that is one of the most important of Brazil.

Boa Vista Bridge. It connects the Island of Santo Antonio to Boa Vista Island. It was built during the Dutch Invasion in 1640.

In the Old Recife that is where I took most of these photos, you can see that during the night the movement in the city is much more intense. The movement of people leaving their jobs to catch the bus and return to their homes is common, you can also see several groups of friends crossing the bridges to be able to go to some bar or night club and is also very easy during the night here find several photographers that like me, wants take advantage of the wonders of the city to seek the best image.

From the Old Recife Island I can see on the other side of the island of Santo Antonio the public buildings that make up this part of the neighborhood.
