We are so inattentive with our routine of coming and going, walking quickly on the streets, crossing traffic lights, crossing avenues, that we don't see how beautiful are the images that happen around us. Scenes filled with life, actions that will surely not repeat themselves, people that we may never see again in our lives and all the life that happens in front of us.

My city, Recife, which you read so much about, is a city that has very different aspects of cities, for example from the United States or some city of some European country. It is a city of almost 500 years of history and that has acquired through the years very original characteristics that we find nowhere in the world.

In my photos I'm trying to post every picture as naturally and truthfully as possible. Therefore, I don't use advanced photo editing / manipulation features, because for me, photography must speak the truth. And as you know, I love real things, real people, and real stories.
