Monday afternoon I went to the beach. Here we are in the summer, the temperatures are easy 30 degrees, with a thermal sensation of 40. Here in Recife we are quite anxious for the carnival season approaching in February and the tourists don't stop of reach in the city. The carnival blocks in Recife and Olinda, which are the two neighboring cities that have more flow of carnival parties have already started their parties and every weekend is possible to see the crowd that accompanies the festivities until late at night.

I am in the Boa Viagem Beach, the best known urban beach of Recife. Here on Mondays usually the beach is a little empty, but very crowded (can you understand?) The fact is that traditionally on Mondays those workers who during the weekend worked in bars, restaurants, concert halls and other entertainment establishments in the city have their day off during Monday and enjoy going to the beach.

I think it's funny that I'm talking to some bloggers here at Steemit, saying that where they live, it's snowing continuously, minus 10 degrees celsius and a chilling torment, because it's a reality that I can not even imagine living. Even here in winter there is a lot of sun and heat and the rains during this period, although persistent, do not get so cold, only during the night temperatures reach a maximum of 15 degrees here on the coast.

Maybe this is the hottest summer we are living here, even the pigeons did not resist and they went to bathe in a shower that is in the beach.

This is our summer. Very hot, the sun very hot in the sky, the beach full of people every day, the expectation not only for the carnival, for joy and celebration, but for better days for all of us.
