Hello Friends! Olá Amigos!

My photo shoot today is in one of the most beautiful places in Recife, the Cais da Aurora is on the street of the same name. The Aurora Street is so named because their homes are oriented to the east, the point where the sun rises. Its old houses are the first to receive sunlight (Aurora). It is a region bathed by the Rio Capibaribe, one of the main rivers that cross the "Venice" (or Amsterdam - my opinion) Brazilian.

A minha seção de fotos hoje é em um dos lugares mais bonitos do Recife, o Cais da Aurora que fica na rua de mesmo nome. A Rua da Aurora tem esse nome por que as suas casas ficam voltadas para o leste, ponto onde nasce o Sol. Os seus casarios são os primeiros a receber a luz do sol (Aurora). É uma região banhada pelo Rio Capibaribe, um dos principais rios que cortam a “Veneza” (ou Amsterdã - minha opinião) brasileira.

The Street or Pier Aurora in the late XVIII century and early XIX century it was a swamp. The land was grounded and in 1806 was born the Aurora Street. In their mansions in the neoclassical style in the nineteenth century beginning the families who lived there were quite famous and known the city of Recife.

A Rua ou o Cais da Aurora no final do século XVIII e inicio do século XIX era um pântano. O terreno foi aterrado e em 1806 nascia a Rua da Aurora. Em seus casarios em estilo neoclássico no inicio do século XIX moravam famílias bastante famosas e conhecidas da cidade do Recife.

The Aurora Street is a much sought after place and is an inspiration for photographers, painters and poets residing in the city and also for those coming from other places just infected with the romantic atmosphere, classic and history of this environment.

A Rua da Aurora é um lugar muito requisitado e serve de inspiração para fotógrafos, pintores e poetas que residem na cidade e também para quem vem de outros lugares acaba contagiado com o clima romântico, clássico e histórico desse ambiente.

Manuel Bandeira, great Brazilian writer, born in the city of Recife. Along with Gilberto Freyre, Clarisse Lispector and Joaquim Nabuco, Manuel Bandeira is one of the great representatives of the literary production of the state of Pernambuco.

Manuel Bandeira, grande escritor brasileiro, nascido na cidade do Recife. Juntamente com Gilberto Freyre, Clarisse Lispector e Joaquim Nabuco, Manuel Bandeira é um dos grandes representantes da produção literária do estado de Pernambuco.

Joaquim Nabuco, great writer, politician, Brazilian diplomat. Born in Recife, it is one of the founders of the Brazilian Academy of Letters. It is considered a great name of Brazilian liberalism. Their struggle in the XIX century in favor of the liberation of slaves and against slavery was quite striking.
