Before the beginning of the carnival festivities that begin here tomorrow, I decided to walk through Recife in my day to day of street photography and contemplate what is beautiful here in our architecture and in our streets.

I always have what to marvel and enchant here. No day is the same as the other, no movement is the same as the other, and people who pass by the same streets, avenues and bridges every day are not the same, we can always expect something new, unusual and unprecedented happening at each point.

The observation of the city beyond what is obvious is always possible in street or contemplative photography. Moreover, we do not yet know the power we have in our hands, in our lenses. Lenses have a transforming power not only to capture moments that will be recorded for eternity, but to capture the life, action and memory transmitted from that place, that people at that time.

In this heat only water solves.
