    This reminds me of when there was a scandal about Chinese companies digging up the black sand and exporting it from Port Irene. Leave Filipino resources in the Philippines! I am glad those companies are no longer exploiting your resources.

    I was just at a beach in Guatemala with black sand-which is beautiful, but SOoooo hot!

    I’m pretty sure it was produced from the nearby volcanos.

      That's right @scottiemac, these black sand came out after the Mt. Pinatubo eruption on June 1991.
