in #photography6 years ago

Hello friends of this community. Today I want to share with you a photograph and review of the highest bridge in Venezuela and the third highest in Latin America, This was a walk we took in the vacation we had a month ago, which we visited Niquitao and Las Mesitas.

Agricultural Bridge Batalla de Niquitao or Bridge of Niquitao

Niquitao Bridge, as it is mostly known, is located in Niquitao, Monseñor Jauregui Parish, Bocono Municipality - Trujillo State - Venezuela. It was built in 1991, with the purpose of uniting the towns of Tuñame and las Mesitas with Bocono

Fuente

This bridge crosses La Quebrada El Molino, its length is 90 meters, width 8.85 meters and a height of 98.60 meters, and therefore it is the highest bridge in Venezuela and the third highest in Latin America behind:

  • 1st Viaduct Loa (Bolivia) - 103 mts
  • 2nd Malleco Viaduct (Chile) -102 meters
  • 3rd Bridge of Niquitao (Venezuela) - 98.60 mts

ere I leave some pictures taken that day with a very humid, cold and hazy environment.

This bridge has a great road importance, not only the locals of Bocono but also for the rest of Venezuela, since they are populated with large crops, which will be distributed throughout the rest of the country, it also has a great tourist, cultural and historical for the inhabitants of the municipality.
