A dream in the forest
This week's landscape photo is an infrared photo taken in the Blue Mountain National Park near Sydney, Australia. I used a 720nm filter on my digital camera and created a custom white balance using the bark of the bluegum tree.
At the time I took the photo I thought it was a wind-still day, but because of the long exposure (a 6-second exposure), the slight movement of the leaves created an interesting mood to the photo.
I visited Sydney 3 times for work purposes and used the opportunity to explore Sydney and surroundings over weekends.
I used the channel mixer in photoshop to change the colours to my liking.
I am tagging the photo for the weekly landscape photography challenge created by @juliank
I love the coloring and the movement you got in this picture. Good job.
Great photo, I don't know how to describe the effect, but you have a great effect with the white contrasting with the other colors, it gives a lot of depth to the photo - very nice!!
Fantastic ! How you got this result ?
Infrared photography is kind new to me but I’m really interested in that. Up voting and following you.
