RE: White Winter Wonderland / Weißes Winterwunderland
Hi @janton,
yes, it's 10pm and I am going to bed in a few minutes. Right, no english signs etc, apart from signs for tourists...
Yes, they are teaching it, but when you don't need a language apart from school, why learn it further on? When these people then get a job where they need English or another language they will learn it again :)
oh ok sir johannpiber! So if you learned a language in school but then didn't speak it and then got into it later in life it should come back to you or should be easy to re - learn it. Interesting.
I bet you get up at like 4:30am don't you? Still dark out.
Yes, @janton, I think you are right, you don't really forget, you just store the learned information somewhere where you have to find it, when you need it ;)
Usualy I get up at 5am and it is still dark - I have plenty of time to get ready and drive to work then.
Howdy again sir johannpiber! How far do you have to drive to work? Is it in the same town?
It's about 6.2 miles, @janton. I live in Klagenfurt and work in Krumpendorf - google it 😄

howdy again sir johannpiber! yes sir I looked that up before to see where Klagenfurt was. Well that's really nice to have a place to work at which is that close, that ain't bad!
No, that is not bad at all - when I look out of my office window I see the sun and trees and green... and I know the lake is just a 5-minute-walk away :)
Howdy again sir johannpiber! Oh how nice, you can just walk over to a lake on your lunch break? At least when the weather is nice? That would be wonderful to be able to step away from the workplace for a little while.
Yes, @janton, if I wanted I could go for lunch to a restaurant at the lake. Some of us are doing extactly this - or we go for a walk there and forget the stressful work for an hour ;)
