Early morning walk / Früher Morgenspaziergang

I got up very early that day and took a walk on the old road through the farm fields. The sun had not risen yet and the morning fog almost completely hid the nearby forests and mountains - they had only been dimly visible.

Ich stand an diesem Tag sehr früh auf und machte einen Spaziergang auf der alten Straße durch die Felder. Die Sonne war noch nicht aufgegangen und der Morgennebel versteckte auch die nahen Wälder und Berge fast komplett - sie waren nur schemenhaft zu erkennen gewesen.
