Coney Island - NYC

From my trip to NYC. When people think of NYC, they think of Times Square. Or the Empire State Building. Others the Statue of Liberty.

Same goes for Coney Island. Most thing of one of country's biggest events on the 4th of July, the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. Oh, but there's so much more. We went on a Wednesday at 8 am. We wanted to go a time without much crowd and boy was it worth it. This shot was taken from the Boardwalk.

In a city that thrives on tourists, it was nice to see the beach and the small businesses that have been around for more than 50 years. A part of the city where so much different cultures has blended so beautifully. Also being able to see the aquarium was pretty cool.

Don't worry, though, I did get a nathan's hot dog.
