Birds, more birds and rivers, oh my! (Traveling Africa)

in #photography6 years ago

Today I was able to capture some really cool shots of different types of Cormorant birds. All the shots were taken using my Canon 80D camera with a 70 - 300mm lens.

The first set of photos are of Great Cormorants as they were standing on some rocks by the water. It's amazing to see how many different types of birds are so similar to birds back in America. Though they are all the way across the globe, they still work together, settle in packs and make for lovely photos.

The second set of shots I was able to capture was of a Crowned Cormorant that was scavenging for some food in the brush as we were walking around today.

In addition to the birds, I was also able to capture some shots of the River Jinja. The Jinja River is the source of the Nile River, which is known to be one of the largest Rivers in the world!

Such a beautiful place to visit and I highly suggest to anyone, if they ever want to travel, make sure you visit Africa. It is life changing.

One love,
