Drone Honey Bee
Male honey bees are not often seen as they don't visit flowers and only leave the hive to search for virgin queens to mate with. They are easily identified by their large bulbous eyes used to aid in their search for a queen bee to mate with.

How rare is a virgin queen bee?
Very rare one in 30,000 and only for a few months out of the year.

Ha Ha I could send you 40- or 50 virgin queens a week and i'm small potatoes, but yes in nature like any other wild creature their is a short breeding season some areas though bees can breed yr around.
