UFC Ring Girl and Playboy Playmate — Brittney Palmer's 2018 Calendar Cover Shoot
A few weeks ago I traveled to Anchorage, Alaska to shoot a 15 month calendar with UFC Ring Girl and Playboy Playmate, Brittney Palmer. It was my first time in Alaska and was a quick 2 day trip. I was impressed with the amount of work we were able to get done in 2 days and 15 different locations.
The photo below ended up being the last photo we took, in the last location and it ended up being the cover shot for the 2018 calendar. Brittney told me this would be her last calendar and I was grateful she chose me to be a part of it. She's worked with a lot of photographers in her day so it was an honor to be chosen to shoot a project as big as a calendar, especially her last one.
I'm proud of the way this shot turned out. I never work with a team because I run solo, but working with a stylist, makeup artist and more opened my eyes to the potential of creating better photos when there's a talented team around you working on the details.

What an amazing pic! They picked the PERFECT colour outfit to compliment the colours of the surrounding "backdrop" - all "pastel like" - love it!
In many ways, the background resembles Cape Town, South Africa.... although a little blurred to confirm. hehe

The background is Girdwood Alaska. It is about 45 miles south of Anchorage. It is home to the world class ski resort, Alyeska. It is truly amazing. The only thing better is to experience it with a Playboy Playmate.

Great shot. I like the tones, the colors, the finish and the location. Running solo and working with a team certainly changes the final output in both cases neither of them being better or worse. It is just different. I prefer solo when i want to connect with the model more. But when working with a professional model that difference is less visible. And glad came across your image as i have found someone else to follow. Cheers!
