South Coast Boardwalk

Went for a walk yesterday along the South Coast Boardwalk in Barbados, took the trusty little SL1 with me.

It was nice to get away from the house, away from the computer, etc. Should do it more often.

Only took a few shots along the way.

    Nice job and great findings out there @jamtaylor! I particularly find myself attracted to the Shaiva sadhu and its "trishul", the trident typical of Shiva philosophy followers.

    Thanks. Everyone sees differently. That mural was for Barbados' 50th Independence, the trident symbolising our breaking away from Great Britain (Brittania holds Neptune's Trident in their iconography) and the woman has an African-style head wrap on. All the elements there point to our history.
