Macro Bugs iPhoneography (2 photos inside) [OC] Plus, a tiny jumping spider gif
I recently got a super cheap macro lens for iphone, for $12 or so.
It's very difficult to get everything in focus, plus the glass itself is not really great.
But you can get some interesting results...
Flies are weird looking.
It's eating something, maybe a fly larvae?
That thing moves so fast. It just disappeared into thin air. Shortly after I found it was actually on my phone hanging out.
That jumping insect doesn't even look like it did anything to accomplish disappearing. It's like it just teleported. Very cool ! I got one of those lens kits for my Iphone. It definitely takes a pretty steady hand. Well done!
Yeah it freaked me out a bit, I went frame by frame on the computer and one frame it was there the next it was gone, so fast it couldn't even capture the movement. Yeah it's not bad for a cheap lens. I'm thinking of getting a better one when I upgrade my iphone.
So cool, I need some lenses like these. I will have to look out, I have a motorola though.. Anyway, awesome stuff friend.
Well, to me, they look interesting. Though I think today is bugs-day for me. lol :D Earlier today I watched a top with the most annoying insects. Trust me, those insects looked really scary.
That top one of the fly is super cool. Love the colors and the bokeh.

Nice Macro work! Can't believe the quality coming from a phone camera.
Oh yeah man and this is a 5S, the new iphones have much better cameras. Going to upgrade soon.
