Steemit is designed to reward good content as an incentive for people to give their best to write high quality content. However, if nobody upvotes good articles, there is no more (financial) inducement to produce them. That means instead of long, elaborated articles we will see more and more cheap SPAM. Thinking further, then there won't be any reason anymore for anybody to invest in STEEM, thus the STEEM price will further decline ...
