Those are BIG Pinecones
Those are some big pinecones hanging from this spruce tree. The trees are loaded with these this year too. I could find a way to use them but I'm going to let them hang and let them go to seed. If you've ever seen maple tree seeds, the way they have the tails on the seeds that act like a propellar when they fall, these seeds do the same thing other than they are smaller. It helps them fly farther from the tree with hopes of reseeding further away. Natures way of making new forests.
